MySpace mp3’s left wide open

I am not sure how many people know about this, but Dave Shanley has a very demonstrative and straight forward article explaining the ease of downloading protected music via Myspace. I do not encourage this at all, but I do believe that it should be known.
This is very minimal for MySpace, considering the amount of people that have had their usernames and passwords stolen from them. I personally know 15 people that this has happend to. This is just another reason that people shouldn’t put all of their trust into a third party, especially in this day and age where information is so open.
I feel that just about anything put on the internet should be considered public knowledge. What is disturbing is that so many people put their trust in such services and then have such outcomes as this. This also brings in the music business as whole into the picture. So many main stream artists are on such sites and their music, and , without even noticing, are facilitating the illegal downloading that they are trying so hard to stop.
